He is afterall only talking about illegal, not legal immigrants. People from overseas who are here legally, don't want anymore immigration.
I am not suggesting for one moment that he is right, but it was a joke, a light-hearted comment that shouldn't have been taken seriously or literally.
This is another reason why I won't do facebook or twitter. I can't crack a joke or anything. It has to be so PC and I don't like PC.

I see absolutely no problem with that idea - and I'm being serious...

"Simple things please simple minds." As my mother used to say.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

If Mel Gibson was really leading them I would feel completely safe.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

The problem starts with the border agency.
A couple of times I've encountered Eastern Europeans trying to make their way to London without even the money for the train ticket.
Unfortunately these people have been taught that London's pavements are plastered with gold, they believe it, and perhaps they don't understand that London's B/Bs and hotels cost at least three times more than elsewhere in "the UK", which is an international slogan the meaning of which many do not understand.
They confuse it with £immediate council house and magnificent benefits.
