  You are dead right though David, if people did not have a TV, or access to commercial radio, and did not send their children to school, they would know nothing of the rapacious nature of the market place.
  Perhaps it is time to undo the land closure acts and return the feckless to the smallholdings of the forebears?
  A return also to the idea of a 'midden' at the end of the street and do away with refuse collection and the airy-fairy notions of municipal recycling.
  Farewell washing machines and central heating, farewell too to the nascent Video-Game Industry and bring back Hunting with dogs, well cared for, warmly housed, richly fed dogs, naturally.
