Brilliant idea re parking charges, at 50p per hour and 50p all day on seafront during the low season is something Dover should aspire to. It would be worth sacrificing the one hour parking free hour as these are few and far between, 50p per hour across the board would serve this town better.
I can park for £1.20 for two hours in Folkestone, right in the middle of town too, so thats already a bargain at 60p an hour.
