  Nobody quite knows just how to tackle it Roger. You might remember the Knife Amnesty initiatives over the years whereby people can hand in weapons and no questions asked. But again its just political gesturing of the vaguest kind, because even I have more knives in this flat than Attilla the Hun had at his disposal. So the Knife Amnesty approach is laughable as any kitchen knife can be used for darker purposes... but look at the huge media flagging up it got...and it was utterly pointless.
