  It is very sad to see this well know road gone in this way but years ago we did tell the DDC that would happen.
  When I was a lad living in Westbury rd most Sundays I would walk down to church that way with both my mum and dad and David .
  Then all the rich folks lived down in Folkestone rd in the very big house and lovely gardens now look at it the houses are all one or two bed room flats the gardens are gone to make way for very full rubbish bins and untaxed cars etc in some ways I am glad both my mum and dad are not about to see the way not only Folkestone rd has gone but the whole of this great town of Dover.
  For us old ones that have been living here from the war days it is very upsetting to see.
