New road markings have appeared at the entrances exhorting road users to keep clear, must be expecting a lot of diverted traffic soon.

They could do with similar markings at the Townwall Street/Woolcomber Street intersection to stop lorries bound for the Port from blocking the junction.

They're appearing all over the area. The roundabout at the Sandwich bypass is plastered with them.
There's now 10 sets of traffic lights at the Tilmanstone roundabout, all for two lanes in one direction.

Just hope the lorry drivers can understand them, they haven't in the past.

Right now there’s a Romanian lorry facing the wrong way down Folkestone Road and 2 police cars, so nothing can go up.
At least he’s not in the keep clear markings.
