  Diane a close relative of mine lives there, started out renting a flat over 2 years ago and loved it so much they bought it. Most of the flats are set well back from the road and you would not know where they are once you are in them, and there is a good commuity spirit there. Access to the town is excellent both on foot and by bus (bus stops right outside). I would say you have nothing to worry about and a lot to gain.
