  one of my pet dislikes especially when they are not removed after the event they are promoting. saw this one earlier up near the castle, you can see the dates of the event but the small print addressed to local authorities states that they promise to remove this within 48 hours of the event. i don't know who is responsible for removing them.

  I think leaving posters/bills up after an event is as bad as littering. If people can take the trouble to put them up they should also take them down after the event.
