# 4.Two different problems Howard.
Maison Dieu Hospital site is on a ``FLOOD PLAIN``the Masion Dieu homes suffer fom surface water, sewerage return, river
problems
The Hospital Campaign highlighted the flood plain and the surface water flooding/sewerage of the Masion Dieu road
residences.
Dover District Council planners/regeneration manager, planning committee and scutiny committees continued to insist our
Hospital be built on the Masion Dieu road site ??????
The residents of Masion Dieu road joined the Hospital Campaign in the hope they would receive help with their
problems.Eventually a few KCC panners picked up the problem and it is their efforts following the planning application from
Dover District Council to the government inspector rejected the Masion Dieu site for our Hospital that have resulted in this
work being carried out.
The residents sent us letters they had sent to MP,District Council,DDC Councillors including...Cllr Collar but were told there
was nothing that could be done!!!!!
Dover District Council.Planners/regeneration manager, planning committees and Scrutiny committees ignored and denied
there was a flooding problem in Masion Dieu road area for two years and held up the building of our Hospital.
A dossier including documents obtained under FOI Act will be sent to the Local Authority Ombudsman shortly.
