On my return from holiday it was lovely to see the bunting flying high above the streets of Dover. They should have been up for the Jubilee I doubt we will see another Diamond Jubilee for many many years.

If both the Queen and Charles were to die this year, the earliest possible Diamond Jubilee would be in the year 2072, when Wills will be 90 and most of the rest of us will have long since shuffled off this mortal coil.

Look good too from this distance - well done, certainly makes the Town look brighter.
As Sue said, pity it wasn't there for the Jubilee.

Meant to put these up on Monday. Good to see the Market Square getting spruced up.
It's just a pity that the bunting spoils the tennis!!!

terry
you must have been bereft and in need of counselling after finding your view of the tennis was impeded.
that jet wash thing was operative about the same time last year so i doubt there is a connection with the olympic torch.
