The BH photos were taken from the Prince of Wales pier in 2015 (when it was open to the public to enjoy - and very popular it was to).
So, just for ol' times sake - here's a shot of the Pier in the' Good Old Days'

Now they've even gone and changed the colour of the light in the lighthouse at the end from green to white. Can't fool the ol' Dovorians though.
Nostalgia - a wondrous thing that affords rare opportunity to 'see' again what probably wasn't there in the first place, but was how one would like it to have been. A pier too far .... if only.
