Fish & Chip evening on the East Kent Railway. Saturday 27th July.
Join us for an evening enjoying the best of British cuisine on-board a unique Southern Region 3rd rail electric train, pulled by heritage diesel shunting locomotives, as part of our Heritage Diesel Gala.
Relax as you watch the sun set over the Kent Country side.
You will board the train at 17:30 at Shepherdswell and travel the remaining section of the Kent Colliery line to Eythorne station. Over the evening we will do three round trips, and at 8:30 you will be served Fish and Chips at your seat, before we make our way back to Shepherdswell. We will have a selection of bottled beer on sale in the buffet car as well as tea, coffee and soft drinks. First class is available for an extra supplement where you can enjoy the meal in the comfort of your own compartment,

Lounge Car-
Relax with your beverage at the social hub of the train - this is where the bar can be found.
Unfortunately there will be no toilets available on the train but there will be facilities at Shepherdswell and Eythorne stations where the train will stop at each station during the evening numerous times for at least 10 minutes.
