Apparently there have been several large black cat sightings Between Western Heights and Folkestone - has anyone on here seen anything?

not seen anything myself mike but there have been many sightings in the area you mention, our local bus driver comes in from ramsgate early mornings and is certain he saw a jaguar near the duke of yorks school and someone i know that lives in clarendon place is certain that a big cat roams at night at the back of his house.

Horses and cattle, never a report of even a scratch. Dog walkers would be left in little doubt something was awry any time their pets sniffed-out big-cat-poop. No (apparently) eerie noises in the night allied with the 'requirements of nature', when cattus-domesticus is hardly silent and serene when similarly afflicted.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

How true Tom, it always surprises me that these sightings of 'big cats' never leave tracks or any other sign of their so called appearances.

someone in folkestone said he had clear evidence and had presented it to a big cat expert, will have to go back and find the story.
let's not forget that cats in general are very secretive in their dumping habits unlike the cattle and horses that are rather upfront about it.

What about scraps of fur/hair when moulting or scratch marks on trees where claws are sharpened or even bones from a left over meals.

Interesting link thanks Howard. The picture looks much more like a Puma, Leopard etc than the Essex Lion one which just looked like a house cat to me. Dead sheep and scratched trees to please Jan too!

"I was sitting in my garden when a giant cat with a brown and orange coat with black spots just walked in. He went and sat next to the pond.
I went to get my camera, but he was gone."
Let's try this one:
" I was just finishing my scrambled egg when a giant purple pig with orange stripes flew over my garden and landed in a tree.
I went to fetch my camera, but lo and behold, it had flown away".

As usual Alex, you supply quotations but never the original reference so we can all check it ourselves - I've been trying to see a flying pig for ages because lots of things are going to happen at last when I do!
