Thank you sir ,I was not the only one but it was peace work only got paid with the amount you made I made manholes cover if they tuned out wrong you got no pay The D.E.W. was a hard place to work and casting up with very hot metal with out any gloves on no s/glass nothing
then I walked back to the bay at night 5 miles sometimes I got a left home or some of the way,but at 0330 hrs the morning I did not see many on the roads,
And my wife at that time would also walk could not get the pram on the bus.
