  A touch of frost in the back garden this morning, not sure if this is the first or whether there was any yesterday?
  Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

  I also woke up to a frost this morning. We did not have a frost yesterday in Salisbury Road but it was b....y cold, the same today.

  I had to pick my wife up at midnight last night, had to scrape the windscreen even then, and the widget on my computer tells me it's still only 3 degrees on the seafront.
  
  It could be the end of the courgettes and autumn raspberries I've been picking right up to this week.

  Yes,and I have had to put the heater on in the green house for the first time other years this has not been done till the newyear.

  Just before I took the dog out this morning at 5.40 I looked at my "weather station" to see what the temperature was outside so I could decide what to wear. It said -0.3C!

  Our outer windows were all frosted up this morning, tho' it did not look frosty on Granville Gardens or opposite the Gateway. But thank Goodness on behalf of all of us who suffer from hot flushes for whatever reason! Yay, it's cold!!

  I do know it was damned cold on the bicycle this morning cycling across the golf course to Sandwich! Knees still thawing out!
