First cruise ship of the year

  Yesterday saw the first cruise ship visit of the year, the AIDAvita.

  Looks like you could fit the whole of Dover on that thing I wished I was on it.
  If only everyone could be kind and honest what a better world we would be in.

  Mind a bit like the Titanic not a lot of life boats by the looks of it - unless they got rubber ones tucked somewhere. Thinking twice about being on her now but she is lovely did anyone get off and come into Dover?

  The Cruise Season is on us once again at the blink of a (very large) eye.
  First, as Chris mentioned, was the AIDA VITA on 21st March. Here photographed on her arrival at 8am berthing at Cruise Terminal 2.
  

  

  
  

  

  
  
  Next on Sunday 25th March is the "HANSEATIC" arriving at 7am for Cruise Terminal 1
  
  followed by the "BOUDICCA" due on Thursday 29th March at 6.30am for Cruise 2
  
  both due to depart later the same afternoon.

  Now the Boudicca actually looks like a real ship. All the AIDA boats look like floating apartment blocks, a sort of ocean-going Gateway Flats.
