[U]Plumes of thick smoke can be seen towards the Eastern Docks of Dover after a reported "abandoned" shelter went up in flames.
Pictures show the smoke plaguing the skyline towards the Port of Dover, and motorists using the A20 to get onto a ferry or onto Jubilee Way could be heading into smoggy conditions.
It is reported that the fire started at around 5pm.
Police have confirmed they are managing the traffic, and the building is still alight.
The building is near East Cliff but also at the junction of Townwall Street and Marine Parade.[/U]
