20:5978347Actually, that chap appeared as I took the image. Had an interesting natter with him. He was repainting the road marking`s by the fire station. The sad part of all this, apart from my picture, is the fact that this event wasn`t advertised locally, which would probably explain why there weren`t many people there.

22:2978366Thank you for explaining the picture Colin, I wondered what it was about when you first posted it. I am still a little puzzled though, where is the fire?

21:3478521Jan, the fire is on the lorry, you can just make out the flames in the picture. They heated the materials up on there. It was the only thing I could find of interest on that day.

23:3578727Thank you Melissa, if I can make one person smile, it`s all been worthwhile. I do apologise to those who got offended by the thread title. I did have a tongue in cheek when I posted it, as maybe some might think something serious had happened.
