    only went there the once brian, the ambience i would describe as "early gestapo".

    i ordered a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea.

    the chef promptly threw a rasher of streaky bacon into a frying pan, then peeled off two slices of bread from a wrapper marked "no frills", smeared a pat of substitute butter on and then gently laid the congealed fat complete with what remained of the bacon between the two slices and presented it to me.

    the tea was alright though.
