As per the graphic below. Given the simplicity of a simple yes no split it will be interesting to see who is the most accurate.
The interesting question is what impact a defeat for the lacklustre Yes campaign on the scale suggested will have on the political climate. Not long to wait....
I must acknowledge politicalbetting.com for the graphic.

There is one FINAL poll to come. Maybe people will turn out to displease the Tories just for the hell of it?

That may well be the case Tom, but a casual vote (without serious thought or consideration) could have dire consequences for the locality.
There has been a strong tendency in local elections, to vote for or against the National Government, I hope that local people will be able to separate the two.

Perhaps they will vote to displease the LibDems and Cleggy instead Tom.
Hopefully though people will vote instead on the merits (or lack of) a switch to AV. Too important an issue to be decided by such shallow considerations as wanting to 'pee off' a certain person.

The only person that there is a certain intent to "pee off" is the voter. AV is worthless and this referendum has no other purpose than to divide and rule. Just politicians playing at it again.
I will vote on it today. I will put a large 'X' across the whole thing. Not a 'No' vote, but a NO! to the entire futile exercise.

Tom, that's a bit like wetting your pants wearing a dark suit. It gives you a nice warm feeling but nobody else will notice.

If only anybody knew how this referendum vote is to be presented, dear Peter.
Here 'in town' we have no other reason to visit the polling booth today. Yet this AV rot shall go forward or fall in the usual FPTP way. To contend that numbers taking the time and making the effort to visit the polling stations to express their (my) distaste of the entire exercise shall go unnoticed is shear poppy-cock!
Low turn out at the 'locals', low turn out here, few votes for, few votes against YET the miniscule difference in Yeas or Naes will carry the day.
You wear the diaper of duplicity if you will and get your warm feeling however you wish.

I shall get my warm feeling if my preferred candidates are elected. Then I shall have representatives on the town and district councils whose values I share; whom I know; and whom I trust to do what is best for Dover to the best of their ability.

there was an article in the telegraph today about how the seats would be affected by the proposed av system.
dover would have still have been blue last time and current opinion polls show that the reds would win next time under both systems.

All of which is immaterial as the boundaries are due to change increasing the size of Dover Constituency before the next election. There is also a long way to go before the next election.
I note that the work to bolster Clegg as part of the coalition has started today ahead of their expected defeat over AV.

A number of things will happen today
1; the AV vote will be heavily defeated and the lib dems will be bafflred as to
there next move
2; the lib dems will internally turn on clegg and we will see the start of the end of
the lib dems
3; in the local electins as forecast the lib dems mainly will lose 100's of seats
across the country, and with this and the cobbled together govt, the tories
as roger says the cobbled together govt of the day will also lose seats
4; people have realised they cant afford a tory govt or local council and we will
see(thankfully) the electorate voting against the co olition across the country
5; Labour in dover will thankfully regain contriol of DDC
6; we will see the usual it was the peoples fault postings by tories on here
rather thanb taking pauilw advice in his postings that the people will decide.
7; the co olition will go into turmoil as lib dems across the country angry for
2 reasons (a)cleggs leadership, and being led to defeat (b)the tories
and more so cameron's words on AV during the campaign
there is more to follow

Tsk tsk, silly me.
It is the video clip that has something to say about the AV issue.

Well - in the battle of the pollsters it is ICM who won being less than 1% out. I did not expect that...
