Perish the thought, I seem to remember there was a competition a few years back where people offered designs for covering the fountain in Winter.

Working OK but has been fenced off for at least a week to my knowledge, still fenced off this morning.

What a shame - that fountain is so pretty in Market Square. Why is it in this day and age if something looks nice there are those who have to ruin it
