This subject comes up from time to time and whilst throwing a load of bread in Pencester Gardens or Market Square is clearly wrong I don't see a problem with instances like this.

Yes, no harm in these one-off cases, helping a seagull in distress, but I am against feeding the gulls in principle.

Yes, no harm in these one-off cases, helping a seagull in distress, but I am against feeding the gulls in principle. They do alright for themselves and feeding them just artificially boosts their numbers when there are already more than enough.
