    I've just received an E-mail which on face value comes from UPS re. a parcel I sent which they could not deliver. Well, I've never used UPS, and as the E-mail asked me to open a link bells started ringing.

    After a bit of googling I find there is a scam running using the UPS logo. These E-Mails adopt many different forms and are the unauthorized actions of third parties not associated with UPS. These messages (referred to as "phishing" or "spoofing") are becoming more common and may appear legitimate by incorporating company brands, colors, or other legal disclaimers.

    Should you receive any of these emails, DO NOT FOLLOW ANY LINKS OR CLICK ON ANY ATTACHMENTS - THIS WILL INFECT YOUR COMPUTER (simply opening the E-Mail is OK). Instead, simply delete the E-Mail. If you've accidentally selected a link, you should run a virus scan immediately.
