  The British High Command took refuge underground at the feet of this Church during WW II and the Germans never bombed or shelled the Castle by land or by sea or from the air.
  
  Yes, Lesley, respect and humility are due. Don't we Brits commemorate those who fell in the war?
  Don't underestimate the High City, because not everything you see around you is the sole doing of mortal mankind.
  
  I mean yes, mankind does start wars and wages them, but we don't really know how often we've been spared the worst notwithstanding mankind's own (and initial) actions, do we?
  Surely, it could have been much worse.
  
  I don't think we Brits should actually be asking ourselves whether we should convert to another religion, when we have the Christian Faith, or whether we should take the Gospel out of our schools in our Country.
  We also have a Christian Flag - the Union Jack - flying over our Castle.
