i do feel very sorry for this school, if they looked at their percentage added figures the school is actually doing quite well, but when its looked at from the benchmarks people forget that we have grammar schools in Kent, so it is almost a full gone conclusion that there will be some element of a failing school.
I would however, still rate this school much higher that other local schools, namely DCCA, which is due to see yet another shakeup of staff and a large departure of staff again.
I feel for Dover comprehensives as with the possible expansion to the main building at DGGS and the further enlargement of its sixth form I think this may be seen even more in years to come.
