I along with the public of Whitfield have always been against this Development.I have said over the last two years or more and at both concil meetings and at public meetings this Development if it should go ahead will kill Whitfield off as a parish,At that meeting even the blues said themselfs that it did not have the backing of the Whitfield Council or the public but still wish to push ahead with it,and the reds were saying ,lets just slow up and look at it again, but that was out voted by 21votes to ten.Must add that the blue cllrs do not live in Whitfield Mr Watkins would not like this on his door step would he>! This is why I wanted to get on the parish council there to add my support, and try and find away of stoping it even at this late time.

And the first step I think is in asking for a local referendum which is law binding if passed, and the Localism Bill would help if it goes ahead and they to not do a U-Turn on that aswell. Even now still alot to play for.
