    I have just read the following on FB and think it might count as a happy event , but not important enough to start a new thread as it is also a councillor patting himself on the back.

    Following much lobbying by myself and local colleagues, KCC have advised that the ugly parklets that have been in place far too long will be removed between 9th and 11th of November. Any planting will be relocated."
