the annual cultural extravaganza hits our screens later this evening with a bearded lady from Austria among the favourites.
I don't hold out much hope for our entry who is unknown to me, I can only assume that pearl carr and teddy Johnson were booked somewhere else this evening.

Sorry to those that like the event but our entry epitomises the worst song available and the singer is not much better no wonder we never get anywhere, plus of course the neighbouring countries vote for each other.
This evening I have been catching up with some of the programes I had recorded.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Was it a lady with a beard or a man dresses as a lady (confused .com) but what ever I switched off when the UK gave that entry 12 points. Yes I was sad enough to watch it up to that point, first time for years and certainly the last..

I watch it every year, dont know why.I,m the only one in the house that does.I voted for the Netherlands, really hoped they would win.Cant believe we finished in 17th place,we had a good song, maybe not a winning song but it should have done better than it did.

my only comment would be if we a female contestant make sure she sports a beard and a sparkly dress.

after seeing engelbert the other year, the winner must have thought "at least I won't look ridiculous like him".
