  just heard on bbc south east that french workers have turned down a pay offer and have given employers until friday to come up with a better one otherwise they strike over the bank holiday weekend.
  
  the british side has said that they expect to run services over the weekend but apparently discussions have been held in dover about running extra ferries over the period.

  i do beliuve its eurotunnel drivers [french] that are going on strike.eurostar and eurotunnel two differant companys.
