Oh no! This is getting rather tiresome now. Another day, another tax scheme disguised as an environmental measure to save the planet.
This one, courtesy of the Daily Mail who report that a total revamp of how motor cars are taxed might be improved by taxing those evil, rootin', tootin', pollutin' gas guzzlers more than a nice, environmentally friendly, pink and mauve coloured ecocar with two delightful children in the back watching An inconvenient truth on their sustainable Ipods in the back seat.
Judas bleeding Priest surely not?
My eyes are filling with blood just trying to read this stuff. I've had to go back and forward and re-read the text of this article. It's no reflection on the author but it's just that I can't get my head around what this coalition really plan to do. Oh! and I've only had two rather small gin and tonics tonight.
See what you make of it.
I know environmentalists are completely barmy, in the main, but to reach the higher echelons of government with their ideas is beyond the pale.
Oh hang on I've just remembered the governments energy policy.
