great game
and poland had chances
must defend better
better sides would have punished england
but england qualified that was what tonight was about

i think you are being a bit harsh there keith, poland played well in front of a partisan home crowd and our chaps came out with flying colours.

Not harsh, reality, It was one of England's best performances, but they did take time to get going
and a better side would have punished England in that first 15 minutes.
Something im sure Roy will look to change, and tighten up the defence.
That first 15 minutes Poland were given to much space.
But on the positive side, it was a great England performance, Wellbeck/rooney played well and all 11 did there bit.

Oh God, does this mean we have another summer of HiD's favourite soaps being replaced with footie matches?

It was a good game and when the second one went in you felt the worry of an equaliser fade away in an instant.
Now onto Brazil and the world stage next summer. While the games will be early morning they will show them again in the evening.so yes Peter the soaps may welll take a back stage for once, after all they have them all year round including Christmas day, well that is what I say to my good lady before and after getting the verbal ear bashing.
