    That spell by Mitchell Johnson has gone a long way towards winning not just the match but the series.

    The question is, can England find the reserves of courage to build big enough scores to stand a chance of winning a Test or two?

    They are more rattled than they like to admit and Australia are clearly out to bully us with verbal intimidation, backing some terrifying fast bowling - and it is working.

    Adelaide is supposed to be a batsman's paradise so that is our chance to wear down Johnson and the other quicks.

    Ordinarily I would say a draw would do after this result but with the lightning fast Perth pitch due for the Third Test, we probably need to win in Adelaide, unless we can somehow pull off a shock victory in Perth.
