England's test cricket team is now officially the best in the world after thrashing India to go 3-0 up in the four match series.
I can certainly never remember such a strong and competent England side - a far and welcome cry from the frequent failures of the late 80s and 90s.

they are frighteningly good, india are totally demoralised.
a lot is down to the bowlers, they know that if they do not perform there are plenty waiting in the wings ready to take over.
never been like that before.

Indeed, Howard. Our depth of seam bowing talent is the most important element - simply too good even for the legendary Indian line up, in English conditions. For once I felt almost disappointed when we took a wicket - I was willing India to make a fight of it.
Our batting is pretty impressive too, mind...

We are without doubt a awesome cricket machine, credit to Andy Flower for the belief he has given the players, wonder if he knows anything about football

don;t push it ron just be satisfied with the achievements of the national side.
when i moved down here 9 years ago we were a joke after much work by nasser hussain followed by michael vaughan we reached the stage of winning the ashes and heaven forbid winning a series in convict country.
i never thought i would see the day when other countries would be trying to knock us off of the pedestal.
as others have said, now for the football team.
