it was indeed a nil nil draw, good result and england applied themselves well, if the final pass had been better we would have won.
overall a professional job well done a real roy hodgson performance.

The above post is dead right about that but we do not have the good players like we did afew years ago, English football needs to find away of geting better players and the only way to do that is clubs stop buying in players from over seas and better training for our younger players it will take some years to see them but it is the only way.

The above poster will rarely agree so we should make the most of the above lol #
now on the thread, the new chair of the FA has been saying that UK football has to change its ways if it wants to have even a slim chance of winning world cups.
One of his thoughts are that we must stop the process of having so many overseas players playing in the UK limiting the numbers, and football league clubs to bring youngsters through the club.
Only by these major changes will we see England do better
otherwise we will continue to be second best

i think it is generally agreed that too many overseas players has left fewer opportunities for young english players.
i feel sympathy for roy hodgson who has a smaller pool of players to choose from than any other major footballing nation.

Very true.I do not know what Germany done after their poor record, they said that will never happen again and that was about 3years ago now look at them they are one of the best if not the best in the world. We should send out somone to see what and how they done it.
