  I've got to agree, we need to nurture the home grown talent and also put the sporting element back into the game.
  
  There's still too much emphasis on running football clubs as a business and the culture of paying footballers extravagent wages only serves to attract foreign 'stars' to try their luck here.
  
  I watched the 1966 World Cup final on television and believe me, that match was a world away from the recent England mundane performances. Bobby Moore, Nobby Stiles, the Charltons etc.....they played football and welcomed the opportunity of being chosen to represent their country too!
