Dover:
Snow Emergency in place
Roads - Action as per WDO instructions.
Pavements - Hand salting gangs have spent the day clearing snow from footways and precincts of Dover, Deal, + around shops of Sandwich, Walmer, Wingham, Eastry,Whitfield, River and Aylesham
Saltbins - Saltbin filling has mainly been in Dover(Maxton and Clarendon wards) , River, Temple Ewell,
Other Local Action - Spot salting & ploughing on main bus routes as resources have permitted around urban Dover ( St Radigunds, Melbourne Ave, The Linces, Friars/Squires Way)
Farmers ploughing in all areas, all day
Dover District Council resources assisting in Dover and Deal precincts
Road Closures - None known on Primary / Secondary routes.
You can't say they aren't trying.
