    Reported Incidents:

    General Comment

    Heavy snow fall making driving difficult although main routes genrally open, care must be taken on side roads.

    Situation regarding specific road closures being monitored and furthur alerts will be issued as information becomes available.

    M20 coastbound closed between junctions 8& 13.

    M25 clockwise between Junctions 5 & 6 one lane closed due to broken down vehicle causing delays.

    A249 The New Sheppy Bridge has been closed due to weather and should be reopened at 09:00. Traffic can use the old Kingsferry Bridge.

    A249 southbound closed between junctions A250 and the A2 due to an incident.

    There are no Arriva bus services in and around Maidstone. No Stagecoach services are running in Ashford. Limited service being attempted for the town centre.

    This morning there will be widely 10cm across the region, locally up to 15-20cm, with the heaviest of the snow likely across the North Downs. The chance of some drifting of the snow in the breeze too
