One of my earliest memories is of the coronation party on Melbourne Avenue, and we helped organise a great party for the Silver Jubilee in Tower Hamlets that our kids went to.
So maybe for those (not all) disappointed with today's turnout it's now time to start thinking about planning for next year's Diamond Jubilee (assuming there's no state funeral before then
) and make it a good one.
