  since free passes came in many people decide to leave their cars at home and go into town for lunch that may include a glass of beer or wine. many during the summer months go out in small groups on the bus that runs along the coast to lydd/hastings getting off at various places for a coffee or lunch, not cost them a penny in petrol or parking.
