  Peter, by bringing up this old chestnut-you realise you could be creating a climate for fighting in the streets?!
  
  One thing they have got at Whitfield I guess is pretty good security.
  
  Alternatively, how about a massive purpose built museum building on that bomb site car park area adjacent to Russell St? It could include a cinema and an appropriate tenant heritage shopping Mall,coffee shops and could feature restoration workshops,interactive exhibits, the bronze age boat, state of the art heritage transport display facilities,volunteer accommodation and another crack at the 'White Cliffs Experience'-which should never have been allowed to die. I thought it was brilliant. The whole thing could come under a new title- the 'Dover Time Machine'. The jewel in the crown will always be the castle but tie the promotion of it all up with the Western Heights Organisation and Dover could become a force to be reckoned with. Dover will cease being a pass by town and become a major destination. Accordingly, the complex would be a major employer and boost the local community's fortunes.
  
  Oh by the way -the new tram depot would be next door.
  
  ..and the maritime backdrop to all this -daren't mention it!
