    I wonder if we will see the 'progressive majority' form between the Greens, Lib-Dems and Labour to oppose the Tory excesses. There will need to be a lot of bridge building and maturity on the part of all players so it is probably unlikely. It is something to hang on to because, if this were to happen, perhaps it would get electoral reform back on the agenda.
    Most commentators believe it was a mistake to hold the referendum on the same day as the elections as priority was always going to be given to winning seats.
    When you consider the potentially ground breaking and historic nature of political reform the paucity of debate and the outright lies by most players was shameful.
    We deserve better.
