I wouldn't object to having another test. I think I will know when I am not safe on the road, after driving for over 50 years. But there are some elderly people who do not realise they are a hazard. I know someone (in her 80s) who has recently turned her car over and written it off, fortunately all she suffered were a few bruises. She did not know what had happened.
I assume (ref Harrys query) that the police CAN force someone to take another test ?? (or is that only if found guilty of bad driving?)
