    Witness appeal after man injured in Dover flat

    Police are investigating after a 54-year-old man was found with injuries in a flat in Priory Road, Dover on Sunday morning (18 September 2011).


    Officers were called to the flat at 9.10am by the ambulance service whose staff took the man to the QEQM Hospital, Margate, to be treated for head injuries. His condition today (19 September 2011) is described as serious but stable.


    House to house inquiries have been carried out in the area and officers are studying CCTV. It is believed that the person carrying out the assault may have been known to the man injured.
