After sitting in Pencester and eating a sausage roll on Saturday, I couldn't help but think that a beady eye gull was waiting for me to slip up.
It seems that the intelligence of our gulls is nothing compared to those of Herne Bay.

I initially thought that intelligent gulls would be A*gulls, not C-gulls, then I read the report.
"He suggested banning people from feeding them could help, adding that it was an "enormous problem" on the seafront."
"it was an enormous problem" sounds more like they have one or two giant gulls...XXL-gulls?
And finally...
""We need to clamp down on not feeding seagulls." No. 'We' need to think before we speak.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

this is clearly a matter of conflict of interests as the councillor concerned represents "heron ward".
he should leave the chamber without further ado like our town and district councillors do.
