Eddie Cochran, one of the top rock n roll singer`s of the 50s, died 50 years ago this coming Saturday on 17th April 1960. On tour here from America, he tragically died in a car crash near Bristol. I`m sure a number of you out there may have heard of him, with hits such as C`mon Everybody and Summertime Blues, amongst other`s, and also appearing in films including, `The Girl Can`t Help it`. I have about 12 LPs of his, plus some singles, as he`s my all time R&R favourite. Rock on Eddie.
