TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 (2) as amended by
The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Kent County Council gives notice that East Street, Dover will be closed to through traffic, on or after 27 February 2012 for up to 2 days.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Tower Hamlets Road and Widred Road.
The alternative route is via Tower Hamlets Road and West Street.
These restrictions have been introduced to enable urgent highway repairs to be carried out by Kent County Council - Highways & Transportation.
This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site, and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.

Another one - overnight roadworks on A2 Lydden Hill to Whitfield roundabout from 10th March for 2 weeks, 40mph speed limit and at times 10mph escorted convoys, that should be fun.
It was advertised in Dover Mercury as ref HA/SE/2012/A2/11 but I can't find a link to it yet on
