Last Friday night as the 'Beast from the East' was on the rampage, my daughter's council owned house sprung a major leak, which affected the electrics resulting in her getting a nasty shock. She made multiple calls to EKH..Mears..P&R.. eventually Mears sent a man who cut a hole in the ceiling, and left! I contacted Peter Wallace..in desperation..and he was amazing! Over the weekend he made many calls and involved other Councillors, attempting to get the tradesmen out to make the house safe for her and the children(electricity + water + small children being a dangerous combination.!) You are so fortunate , in Dover, having Councillors of this calibre. Heartfelt thanks Peter .

Just thought you should all know the full facts. It seems Howard McSweeney is always looking for additional material from Facebook. Well he does, and it shows on this Forum.
However, the above comments from him #7 are spiteful.
Peter Wallace / Ann Napier / and John Heron are incredible Councillors.
Many people, are genuinely thankful to them, in this harsh society.
