I know that Cllr Peter Wallace has been compiling a dossier of serious complaints from tenants.

The way I am reading the situation Brian there is little EKH can do in the first four years of the contract unless there are penalty clauses not apparent.

Carla smith EKH is the complaints officer- but would take to Matt Gough myself or CEO right to the heart of EKH where you may get sense.

Just some info that might me useful to some who dont know:
EKH ; The government introduced the right to repair scheme to ensure that council tenants can get certain repairs completed quickly and easily. It sets time limits for certain types of repair, which councils must stick to. If our contractors don't do the work in that time, you can ask them to hire someone else. If the repairs still aren't done, you may be able to claim compensation. This will be £10 plus £2 for every day the work is over the time limit, up to a maximum of £50.

It would appear that EKH have more than a problem with just P & R, looks like they have financial issues relating to external painting contracts at Thanet and Folkestone. Councils' considering police involvement.

I do try not to involve myself in controversy lol but,,,,,
I understand part of the campaign/dossier was aimed at 1 persons view of St Monica's
Having spoken to all the residents I couldn't find any more than 2 residents that were not happy with the services they provide.
It does look like (if correct) they have some wider issues, but I'm always wary of individual complaints I always check out all living there
but there you go we are all different
