Surely to justify the length of time there is something more to it than these relatively simple roadworks.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Looking at this in a cynical way it may be planned to do it in a much shorter time so that DHB can then say that they listened to the concerns of people in Dover so paid out a lot more for the job to be completed to keep us all happy.
