The latest promotional Spring 2017 Newsletter on DWDR from DHB.

    http://www.doverport.co.uk/administrator/tinymce/source/Newsletters/DWDR/DWDR%20Newsletter%20-%20Spring%202017%20-%20(FINAL).pdf?dm_i=2Y6B,FX33,3CY40Q,1NAS9,1

On Page 8 they ask for our help to 'get behind DWDR' urging letters of support to be sent to the MMO regarding a decision needed on the Goodwin Sands (extraction of sand).

According to the promotional text on the same page, no positive decision means, more cost, more time, delayed deliver of 'Dover's sympathetic regeneration' and may mean an unfinished waterfront.

I wouldn't be surprised if an imminent response is in the offering.

By the way that Cable Car idea is not a dead duck. From around Granville Gardens to the Castle. Perhaps that is why some of our Councillors were against the extension of the Waterloo Crescent Conservation Area to include said area.
